° January | KA1 - INCOMING MOBILITIES

At Campus Corso, we organize many international meetings. Learners (including directors, teachers, teacher trainers, students, and pupils) from all over Europe meet through Erasmus+ KA1 (Key Action 1) and KA2 (Key Action 2) mobilities. You can find more information about activities via Erasmus+ on the website of EPOS, the Flemish Erasmus agency for education.

From January 22-27, 2024, we hosted 8 students and 2 teachers from Porto (P). It was a wonderful and educational group mobility, with visits to Leuven schools such as Stroom, Heilig Hart Heverlee, Heilig Drievuldigheidscollege, and Atheneum Redingenhof. The program also included a visit to the Stroom entrepreneurship fair at Campus Corso, a high-tech and plastics workshop at the Maakleerplek, and trips to Brussels and Bruges. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for opening their classroom doors and engaging in conversations about meaningful and future-proof education.

Not only within the context of education do we exchange knowledge and experience. We also do this in an informal way, for example through European youth exchanges. You can find more information about what such an exchange might look like within Erasmus+ Youth on the website of Jint, the Flemish Erasmus agency for youth. Since this year, we have also been organizing youth exchanges ourselves in collaboration with various youth organizations across Europe.

Young Inventors in Action in Düzce (Turkey) from August 11 to 18, 2023.

oung people who come to Düzce with the Erasmus+ Youth project supported by Jint, the Belgian National Agency and the European Union learn about inventions in partner countries and gain awareness about coding. Foreign learners who came to Düzce within the scope of the project visited the Professional Life and Innovative Solution Center and examined the vision project that aims to be a model for Türkiye. In addition, the young people received information from Hasan Kum, who produces hazelnut harvesting and grass cutting machines.

Young Inventors in Action in Ardahan (Turkey) from August 18 to 28, 2023.

Our No Hate Yes Love project in the spotlight in the Turkish press:

Ardahan's historical and touristic places are introduced to foreign young people.
48 young people from different countries who came to Ardahan within the scope of the Erasmus+ Youth Project are shown around the historical and touristic places of the city. Within the scope of the project supported by the Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Directorate of Culture and Tourism, young people from Turkey as well as Belgium, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Spain, Greece and Portugal have the opportunity to get to know the city. Young people who will visit Çıldır Lake, Ardahan Castle and Devil's Castle within the scope of the tour program, which will last approximately 10 days, will get to know the historical and natural beauties of the city and learn the culture of the region. Group Coordinator Suat Özgülüova told the AA correspondent that young people liked Ardahan very much. Stating that young people came together to resist hatred, Özsosyalova said: "We are in Ardahan to increase our tolerance towards different cultures and beliefs. Our project is going very well. We are promoting Ardahan and Turkey with the activities we organise. They are having a great time. While the participants are telling about the culture of their country, they are also getting information about our culture. They are against hatred." "We share solution suggestions regarding the issue. We also organise cultural events in the evenings. Those who have the chance to get to know new cultures also have the chance to get to know someone else's culture." Polish Ida Pıatkowska also stated that the trip was very productive and said, "I love such places. I especially love places related to nature. That's why I recommend this place to everyone." said. Ahsen Sude Bulut also stated that the travel programs are progressing well and said, "Our days are full. We have the opportunity to introduce the history and culture of the region." he said.

Within the scope of the project that aims to increase young people's tolerance towards differences and reduce the feeling of hatred among young people, the Erasmus+ Youth project, which is carried out in partnership with vzw Edushakers operating in Belgium and Antalya Value Creators Association, is being held in Ardahan between 18-28 August 2023.
Six people each from non-profit organisations operating in Belgium, Turkey, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Spain, Greece and Portugal participated in the project supported by the Belgian National Agency and the EU. In the project, in addition to raising awareness against biased news on media and social media aimed at increasing hatred, various activities are carried out on teaching young people the reasons that fuel hatred, reducing hate speech, showing the social problems caused by hatred and intolerance, and teaching the importance of love. Young people, who learned that love is the solution and differences are wealth, raised awareness among the public with their outdoor activities. Young people, who had the opportunity to see the historical and natural beauties of Ardahan in the project supported by the Ardahan Provincial Directorate of National Education, stated that they liked Turkey very much, talked about their love for Turkey and Turkish people, and expressed that they wanted to come to our country more often.

Young Musicians in Action in Akçakoca (Turkey) from November 25 to December 5, 2023.

49 Young people from Turkey, Belgium, Italy, North Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria and Hungary participate in this project. Within the scope of the project, young people come together to improve their musical talents, get to know different cultures and share their experiences. The project hosts events that unite Akçakoca in the magical world of music. Participants have the opportunity to learn from each other and share experiences by coming together with a program full of workshops, celebrations and concerts held within the scope of October 29, and cultural events. The aim of the project is to promote cultural interaction among young people and strengthen communication through music. In addition, participants carry out various activities to develop the spirit of cooperation in the international arena and reinforce their working skills. Young people also have the opportunity to introduce their own culture and discover the beauties of Akçakoca by interacting with the local people. This project is an important step to increase cultural understanding among young people and lay the foundations for future collaborations. The "Young Musicians in Action" project aims to build bridges between young people, develop musical talents and support cultural exchange. This project, carried out within the scope of Erasmus +, expands the horizons of young people and makes Akçakoca the centre of international youth activities. Such events allow young people around the world to understand each other, improve intercultural communication and strengthen friendships. Düzce's Akçakoca district is proud to host young people and offer them an unforgettable experience.

Pourquoi faire un stage Erasmus+ KA1 avec Edushakers ?

Edushakers organise des stages pour tous types de profils d'étudiants : TIC et programmation, sciences sociales et biomédicales, etc. De cette façon, les étudiants saisiront pleinement les opportunités offertes par les Edushakers pour se mêler à la population locale, pour apprendre les outils nécessaires et entrer sur le marché du travail ainsi que pour gérer leur vie quotidienne et leurs études.

Pendant tout leur séjour en Belgique, les étudiants séjournent dans des appartements confortables, entièrement meublés (et équipés pour l'auto-restauration) et idéalement situés. Edushakers propose également une aide organisationnelle pour planifier des visites culturelles et des activités sportives et touristiques.

Un stage, un apprentissage ou une formation sur le tas Edushaker est une expérience à ne jamais oublier, comme le disent nos stagiaires :

Alejandro : « Partir à l'étranger est souvent décrit comme un changement de vie et c'est exactement ce que j'ai vécu. Non seulement tu restes loin de chez toi, mais tu dois aussi être responsable de toi-même : quoi manger, où aller et où aller (ne pas) aller à certaines heures, prendre soin de ta maison et des choses que tes parents font habituellement pour toi. Pour moi, cela a également été un défi pour moi et mon cerveau. A l'école, je n'ai jamais rien fait de tel. Je suis rentré chez moi avec pas mal de compétences en résolution de problèmes. Être avec d'autres personnes et du jour au lendemain n'avoir personne sur qui compter autre que soi-même est difficile. Cependant, après un certain temps, vous commencez à savoir que les autres sont comme vous et vous vous sentez plus à l'aise. Cela a été une très bonne expérience pour découvrir ce qu'est la vie.
